Sleep With Peace Project

Sleep with Peace is on-going fundraising project to donate a portion of proceeds from Sabella bonnets to empower youth development and create economic sustainability.

In this first year, on November 1st, 2019 The Sleep With Peace Project is hosting a fundraiser, showcasing Sabella bonnets and other African print fashion to generate at minimum $5,000 to the study abroad program at the MultiCultural Center at Bentley University for under-represented students of color and to Pax Populi, non profit organization fostering relationship between Bentley University Students and Afghanistan youth.

Sleep With Peace- is a promotion to literally sleep with peace. The community will rest easy knowing they made a contribution to a young person's growth and development.

I had the privilege to study abroad in Ghana twice while in undergrad at Bentley University. This was made possible by the Robert Allen grant of MultiCultural Center. The second organization involved in the Sleep with Peace Process is Pax Populi. I served as a volunteer with Pax Populi during undergrad also, as a mentor and tutor. Pax Populi was created to provide access to English language for high school girls in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a tutor, I worked with a young lady via Skype teaching her how to read and write in English. Today, my relationship remains with Hila as friends forever.

My vision and dream is that friends and family in my community, and friends and family of my communities community will come celebrate love, peace and sustainability with me. Let’s party and sleep with peace! Will you join me?

Attendees will have free admission, there will be a silent auction of products from phenomenal artists and designers and more opportunities to donate to the cause.

The possibility of this Sleep with Project fundraiser will create social equity and create a pipeline to raise future leaders like you and I.

Thank you in advance for your support,
